ABOUT TY
As a factory-trained concert technician for KAWAI and Shigeru Kawai pianos in the greater Dallas area, I tune, prep and maintain their performance pianos for concerts, recitals, and other events. I am also available for your next function. However, most of my customers just need their home pianos tuned and/or serviced.
My apprenticeship began over 46 years ago and through the years I have worked and trained in both the United States and Europe. My extensive training includes Baldwin, Bösendorfer, Dampp-Chaser, Kawai, Kimball, Kohler & Campbell, Mason & Hamlin, Pearl River, PianoDisc, Samick, Shigeru Kawai, Steinway, Story & Clark, Charles R. Walter, Wurlitzer, Yamaha, and Young Chang.
fPRICING & PAYMENTS
My fee for a regularly scheduled piano tuning is $170 (includes tax). If it has been several years since your last tuning, it may run a little more and require a second visit. For anything extra that might be needed, an estimate would be provided.
I'm sorry, I do not schedule appointments on evenings or weekends.
